Consciousness
Consciousness is a state of awareness that exists in all of us.
Through this exhibition, we explore consciousness through the lens of four incredibly talented artists. They offer a global perspective shift in consciousness and how through different cultural lenses the idea of consciousness changes.
Whether it is captured through the eyes of another, in contemplation, within the evolution of self or in stillness, they all truly capture that inner knowing that lives inside of us all.

Kknairuti explains that the pieces explores presence, awareness, and staying 'afloat' above inner noise while existing in a state of quiet mindfulness. The objective is the viewers to feel a sense of being seen, an immediate, quiet connection that pulls them out of their own head for a second.

Adisa Omolile is a powerful visual narrative of survival, resilience, and transformation. The woven mask symbolizes cultural identity, ancestral wisdom, and the protective layers built through life's struggles. Behind the curtain of reeds emerges a hidden face. Scarred by experience yet strengthened by every challenge encountered in the wild.
The smoke and cigar represent defiance, confidence, and the hardened spirit of a man who has endured harsh realities. The narrow opening reveals only part of the face, suggesting mystery, untold stories, and the inner battles that shaped his journey. The natural materials connect him to the jungle. Both a physical and symbolic place where only the strong survive.

This piece celebrates the transformation of struggle into strength, reminding viewers that greatness is often born from the toughest environments.

The series is about allowing things to disappear, including the stories of self. The creation of the piece is to evoke movement, possibility and change. Within the series the Lokta paper canvases are extremely thin, reflecting the fragility and preciousness of human life. Throughout the artist’s time in Kathmandu the consciousness that the outer world (art, career, travel) and the inner self were moving as one came into alignment to product the series.
Javier Garcia Sanchez wants the viewer to have the desire to look more closely, to dive deeper, and perhaps to appreciate the changing that is already happening.
Munyange

Described in on word Kamkutano is voices. In reality 'Kamkutano' is slang for a monologue or a small (me, myself, and I) meeting where you sit down with yourself and realize you need to do better and things have to take a new turn. It's all about being conscious of the destructive things you have allowed.
Munyange wants the viewer to put themselves in the muse's shoes, feel like they've been there and they can relate.
